What was your first competition?
My first competition was a 3 Gun match at Academi in NC in May of 2014. It was a great experience all around! I met some really great shooters that were more than happy to walk me through the match.
How did you get started?
I'm not sure how old I was, but I remember it involving a BB gun and a bunch of soda cans.
How often do you practice?
I usually end up practicing while I’m competing.
How much do you shoot?
I try to shoot a minimum of two competitions a month during the competition season.
What firearms do you shoot competitively?
I'm a big fan of Glock’s, so you'll always find me shooting a Glock 34. For shotgun, I've been shooting a Versa Max for the last three years and I'm contemplating switching over to a Benelli for the 2017 season. I built my AR myself using a bunch of manufacturer’s parts. It's a little from Lancer, Geissele, Leupold, JP, Stretch Precision and a host of others.
What is your favorite firearm?
I'm a big fan of the writer Peter Hathaway Capstick...and the favorite firearm I own is a Winchester Model 70 chambered in .470 Capstick, because there is nothing more fun than a 500g solid going 2600fps!
